APPLICATION PROCEDURE
FOR LICENSE OF CAR SERVICE & FILLING STATION
The applicant must present the concerned authority's approval
to the Directorate of Prevention/the prevention section in a
governorate or region.
Representative of the Civil Defence, the D.G. of Traffic and
the supplier shall coordinate to visit the site in the
presence of the applicant. If the site is suitable for a
service and filling station, the applicant or the supplying
company must submit the following documents:
An application for this purpose along with:
Copy of the title deed.
Of the sketch drawing of the site.
Initial plan of the project showing the built area of the
station, the neighborhood and the location of fuel tank.
Following the initial approval of the plan, the applicant or
the supplier submits 5 copies of it and the initial approval
is given for implementation of the project.
After completion of the project the applicant or the supplier
will report to the Directorate of Prevention/the prevention
section in a governorate or region and fills in the proper
form.
The Civil Defence personnel will visit the site to ensure that
the safety requirements are met, and the final approval for
operation of the station will be given.
Application Procedures for Renewal of Car
Service and Filling Stations Licenses
A letter from the applicant to the Directorate of Prevention
/the prevention section in governorates or regions enclosing
the following documents:
Copy of the Dept. of Petroleum Products Sales’ notice on the
oncoming expiry of the license.
The Civil Defence personnel will visit the site. If the
standard safety requirements are met, the applicant will be
given a letter to the Dept. of Petroleum Products Sales for
renewal of the license.\
If other imperfections are noticed during the visit, the Civil
Defence personnel will inform the applicant and will give them
a grace period to rectify them, and fix a date for another
visit.
