DIRECTORATE GENERAL OF CIVIL DEFENSE
 

APPLICATION PROCEDURE FOR APPROVAL OF FIRE EQUIPMENT MARKETING

 

An application for this purpose must be filled in by the local agent and must enclose the following documents:

  • Copy of the commercial registration.

  • Copy of the appointment as a trade agent.

  • Copy of the certificate of membership to the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

  • Copy from recognized international technical laboratories. The certificate must be authenticated by authorities concerned.

  • Copy of former supply to other countries, if any.

  • All documents must be produced in Arabic and English.

  • Samples, models and manuals of the products.

The Civil Defence officials review the application. if the product is up to the standards, a final approval of marketing in Oman will be issued.
