The local agent shall fill in the proper application form and
enclose the following documents:

Copy of the Commercial registration

Copy of the authorization to run the business in Oman
-
Certificate of consistency to the standard specifications as
regulated by the Directorate General of Specification and
Measurements, Ministry of Commerce and Industry

Copies of the academic and technical qualifications of the
installation technicians.
The Civil Defence officials will review the application. If it
is up to the standards, they will give their final approval of
the business.
Application Procedures for Renewal of
Certificates of Consultants, Marketing and Installation of
Fire and Safety Equipment:
An application for this purpose should be filled in by the
consultants, local agent or establishment concerned, and
should enclose the following documents:

The original expired certificate issued by the Civil Defence
-
Copy of the Commercial registration.

Copy of the trade agency.
-
Copy of the certificate of membership to the Oman Chamber of
Commerce and Industry.

Copy of the authorization to run the business in Oman. The
Civil Defence officials will review the application and renew
the license for another period.
