DIRECTORATE GENERAL OF CIVIL DEFENSE
 

APPLICATION PROCEDURE FOR OPENING A PRIVATE SCHOOL

 

When the applicant is referred by the Ministry of Education (The Private Education Dept.) to the Directorate of Prevention/ the prevention sections in governorates or regions, the following documents must be attached to the application:

  • Copy of the Ministry of Education's letter

  • Copy of the title deed or lease agreement

  • Copy of the lease agreement

  • Copy of the commercial registration

  • Copy of the passport or identity card

By coordination with the applicant the Civil Defence personnel will visit the site to ensure its compliance with the standard requirements. The applicant will be given an initial approval and a list of the requirements to be implemented.

After completing the requirements the applicant should inform the Civil Defence in order to make a final inspection visit. If the safety requirements are completed, the Private Education Dept. Ministry of Education will be informed accordingly.

Note: There are standard drawings for the above services, and by Law the Civil Defence have the right to amend them.
