APPLICATION PROCEDURE
FOR OPENING A RESTAURANT/CAFE
When the applicant is referred by the Ministry of Commerce and
Industry (Dept. of Tourism) to the Directorate of
Prevention/the prevention section in a governorate or region
the following documents must be enclosed:
Copy of the lease agreement
Copy of the commercial registration
Copy of the title deed
Copy of the passport or identity card
Copy of valid registration card of the vehicle (for mobile
cafes)
By coordination with the applicant the Civil Defence personnel
will visit the site to check its compliance with the standard
requirements. The applicant will be given an initial approval
and a list of the requirements to be implemented. After
completing the requirements, the applicant should inform the
Civil Defense in order to make a final inspection visit. If
the safety requirements are completed, the Ministry of
Commerce and Industry will be informed accordingly.
