Textiles of any form bearing drawings or imitated paper maony,
bills of exchange or searities of the government of the
Sultanate of Oman or any other government
Weapons which could be turned into knives or swords
Sticks and rifles, any rifle which has been designed in a way
to hide its true nature.
Drugs, stuff and tools which are banned by the International
conference of Opium and Drugs.
Leaves, flowers, seeds and stems of cannabis (Indian hemp).

Any other materials which are banned by another law.
Restricted and banned exports:
All the materials mentioned in table 1 are banned unless
authorized by the General inspector of Police and Customs.

A customs broker should be:
An Omani national of not less than 18 years.
Of good conduct and has no history of customs violations.
He should pass the D.G of Customs course on the performance of
the job and the rules and regulations of customs.
Authorized to perform the job by the Ministry of Commerce and
Industry according to the Government’s laws.
An annual permit to work in customs clearance issued by the
D.G of Custom.
Valid authorization from the merchant.
He has the right to authorize another valid customs broker in
case he is unable to do the clearance with a valid permit from
the merchant.
