ROP provides support services to tourism festival visitors

 The Royal Oman Police (ROP) is providing various types of support services during the ongoing Salalah Tourism Festival. Through its wide scale deployment at the festival venues, the ROP is offering security and preventive services, public awareness and guidance to the visitors and tourists. The Royal Oman Police has also set up stations at festival venues, such as the Municipality Recreation Centre, and patrolling all the locations frequented by the visitors to ensure they spend a good time with their families and friends safely and comfortably. The services also include assistance to motorists and civil defence services in case of emergencies. The traffic and civil defence units have been provided with state-of-the-art equipment to help them to tackle any emergencies.
