18 training courses held (12/5/2010) The Traffic Safety Institute organized 18 training courses in the first four months of the year. The number of participants from ROP who attended the courses was 231.
Defensive driving, traffic accident investigations, holding awareness campaigns and qualifiers for driving test officers were among the topics discussed.
Twelve training programmes for public and private sector employees were also organized, and saw the participation of 136 people. A number of students visited the institute to learn about traffic safety procedures for children such as crossing the road safely.
