124 fire incidents reported between May 19-25

Civil Defence centres across the Sultanate dealt with 124 fire incidents from May 19 to 25 whereas rescue teams dealt with 28 reports for various incidents and rescued 16 people. The General Directorate of Civil Defense during the same period also provided 2,377 services in the prevention of fire hazards. The services included field visits, layout study, issuing certification and licensing, following up preventive requirements needed to protect facilities, establishments, companies, factories, public and private buildings.
