Traffic Escort Security application service

Service Description

This service allow local organizations and commercial entities to apply online for Traffic Escort Security services, to accompany hazardous equipment during land journeys and secure the escort route for other road users.

Terms and Conditions

  • The applying organization must be registered in the service system, prior to submitting this application.

  • Details of applying organization
  • Details of company used for transporting.
  • Details of vehicle / trailer truck used (plate number).
  • Driver Details.
  • Details of organization users authorized to apply online.

Service Procedures

First time registration Procedures

  • Step 1: Applying Company have to register for the services via e-mail: (Admin.dpg@rop.gov.om), attaching required documents.
  • Step 2: Applying Company have to proceed with registration fee payment after receiving pre-approval via registered e-mail.
  • Step 3: Applying Company will receive final approval, including confirmed registration details and authorized users access permissions details via e-mail.

Registration renewal Procedure: Registered companies can pay the annual registration renewal fee online through the service's website.

Application procedures

To complete the security escort application procedure, users are required to:

  • Step 1: Sign in to the service website.
  • Step 2: Fill out the online form and submit the application.
  • Step 3: After receiving pre-approval, the applicant must complete the online payment process for the service fee.
  • Step 4: After receiving final approval, the applicant can print the security escort permit.

Service Fees

Annual registration and renewal fees (12) Omani riyals

The permit fee is calculated according to the distance of the security escort route, the number of escorts of officers and individuals in their shifts, the number of vehicles accompanying and the permit issuance fee.
