Omani Passport Issuance Service

This service allows requesting Omani passport issuance electronically (new or renew), as well as viewing previous transactions.

  • Activate the e-authentication (PKI).
  • Applying person ID card has to be valid.
  • Applying person has to be present in the Sultanate of Oman.
  • If the applicant does not have an ID card or age under 18 years old, the applying person has to be of first degree (father).
  • In case of the guardian’s death or is not present in the Sultanate of Oman, the request has to submitted through the service centers.
  • If the applicant has an ID card and is more than 18 years old, the applying person has to be the applicant himself.
  • Applications have to be submitted before the applying person's ID expiration date.
    Note:
  • applying person: The person who login into the system in order to place a new or renewal application.
  • Applicant: The beneficiary of submitting the request (passport holder).

  • Submitting an application to issue a new passport:

    • The applicant’s guardian login to the service through (PKI).
    • Fill all required data fields of the applicant and send the request.
    • The service verifies the data of the applicant and the guardian, and the relationship between them.
    • Proceed with payment of service fees through e-payment portal.

  • Submitting an application to renew a passport:

    • The applicant login to the service through (PKI).
    • Fill all required data fields of the applicant and send the request.
    • The service verifies the data of the applicant.
    • Proceed with payment of service fees through e-payment portal.

  • Reviewing previous transactions:

    • Click (previous transactions).
    • Search through the advanced search, according to application submission date, e-application number, or applicant’s civil number.

  • Issuing a passport (New):

    • The presence of the applicant in Omani uniform is required if 15 years or older.
    • The presence of the applicant’s guardian at the service center is required if applicant is under 18 years old.
    • The presence of the applicant’s guardian at the service center along with original ID card and e-application number.

  • Issuing a passport (Renew):

    • The presence of the applicant in Omani uniform is required.
    • The presence of the applicant along with original ID card, old passport and e-application number.
  • 5 OMR For those aged 18 and under.
  • 10 OMR For those over the age of 18.
