First-time issuance of residence card

Every expatriate who is resident in Oman must obtain a Residence Card within 30 days from the date of entry in Oman.

  • Applicant must appear in person.
  • The required documents.
  • Application form for a new residence card.
  • Original passport.
  • Original and copies of the Manpower form after medical examination.
  • A letter from the employer (Government employment ).
  • Application is to be checked by the registrar.
  • The applicant collects their residence card.
  • RO 6 for one year.
  • RO 11 for two years.
  • RO 10 for each month of delay in application for the card.
