The man took the donkey and struck it in the neck, so a dirham came out from the
mouth which filled the man with joy. But after beating it more than eight times, not a dir-
ham came out, so the man knew that he had been tricked. He went angry to the crooks›
house, and he found his wife with a little black dog and said to her: Where is your
husband? She said to him: He›s out, but I will tell the dog to bring him.The man was
astonished at her behavior, and after a short time her husband came back carrying the
dog, so the man was astonished by this dog and forgot about the donkey and said to
him:How much do you sell this dog? he said to him: Twenty-five dirhams.
The man gave him the money and took the dog, and the truth (that the crook and his
wife have two similar dogs, and when the first dog came out, it did not return, and the
man brought the second dog with him) so the trick worked. The man took the dog and
told his wife that he would go to herd the sheep, and if anyone asks about him, she
should send the dog to tell him, and he will come immediately. His neighbour came to
ask about him, so his wife sent the dog to bring him, but night fell, and the dog did not
return. Her husband came back and said: Did anyone ask about me?His wife said: Yes,
our neighbor came, and I sent the dog.
The man knew that he had been tricked again, so he told his neighbor his story and
said: I want you to help me by arresting the crook and throwing him into the sea for his
actions. So they took a big bag and put the crook in it, and on the way to the sea they
stopped to eat under the shade of a tree, and he said to his neighbor: Move this gabage
bag away from us until we eat. They placed the bag in the valley, and a shepherd passed
by with a herd of sheep. He saw the bag and opened it. Then the man went out and said
to him:Save me, shepherd, my folks wanted to take me to a faraway village to marry a
princess and I love my cousin. The shepherd said: Marry a princess?! Yes, princess of
the sea. Then the shepherd entered the bag instead of the crook, and the man took the
sheep and returned to the village, and the man and his neighbor threw the shepherd
into the sea. When the man and his neighbor returned to the village, they found the
crook with many sheep, and they were amazed and told him: How did you come back!

And we dumped you in the sea? He told them that the mermaid
brought him out and gave him all these good things, so they
went and threw themselves into the sea.
Here we learn the end of those who fall into the
crooks works without checking the trustfulness of
                                 the doer .
