             Dear friends, in this issue we will learn about a beautiful traditional handicraft, the Omani
             Ghee which is well known in all the Sultanate`s governorates. People are still making it
             traditionally as it is considered ancestors food and the secret of their strength till now and it
             is found in all Omani houses as an essential ingredient in preparing some popular meals such
                               as “Al Harees”, “Al-Arsiya”, or bread to give a beautiful taste and a
                                 pleasant smell. Ghee is made from different types of milk, from cows,
                                   or sheep, and passes through many stages which are as follows

                                      How to make ghee?
                                       First: Milk is extracted and placed in a container forone day
                                       until it is coagulated to turn into milk. Second: It is placed in
                                       an electric machine to separate butter from milk.Third: The
                                       extracted butter is placed after being collected and placed in
                                       a pot, then placed on low heat to melt and to separate the
                                       impurities. Fourth: Grounded cumin, coriander and salt are
                                              added and stirred till the ghee turns golden. Finally:
                                                  the ghee is left to cool and then placed in glass
                                                     or metal containers.
